A new vlog on Jana’s YouTube channel documented the family gathering, where predictions were made for each couple's baby. The highlight arrived as both couples stood ready for the big reveal. Two smoke canons erupted simultaneously: blue smoke for Jana and Stephen indicated they are expecting a baby boy, while pink smoke for John-David, Abbie, and their children Grace and Charlie, revealed a baby girl. Their younger sister, Jessa Duggar Seewald, had accurately predicted both outcomes in the vlog, stating, “I think Jana’s having a boy, I think Abbie’s having a girl.”
Both couples also shared recent pregnancy updates. Jana posted on Instagram on September 24, expressing her joy at being “Halfway through pregnancy” and feeling “those tiny kicks.” Abbie, on September 27, shared on her and John-David's joint Instagram account that she was “A little over half way!” She candidly mentioned enduring a “pretty rough go of it the first half” due to hyperemesis but was thankful to be feeling “much more like myself again.” These two new additions will become the 40th and 41st grandchildren for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, further expanding their extensive family lineage.
