Brooklyn Manhunt Underway After Fatal Stabbing Incident

Police in Brooklyn are actively searching for a man connected to a fatal stabbing that occurred in the Bergen Beach area on Thursday, December 11. Emergency services responded to a home on East 69th Street shortly after 7:30 p.m., where they found two victims, a husband and wife, both 49 years old, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Both were rushed to Brookdale University Hospital. Tragically, Juan Manuel Galicia, the father-in-law of the suspect, succumbed to his injuries. His wife, the suspect's mother-in-law, remains hospitalized in critical condition following the violent attack.

Investigators revealed that the suspect contacted a family member soon after the incident, stating, “I’ve taken care of your parents.” This alarming message prompted the family member to alert another relative, who then called 911 to report the crime. The suspect is described as a man in his early 30s, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, and was last seen wearing a white hoodie and blue pants. Authorities believe he fled the scene in a blue Toyota SUV and remains at large, with no arrests made so far.
