Kelsea Ballerini has delighted fans with the announcement of her upcoming six-song collection, “Mount Pleasant,” slated for release on November 14. The country star first teased the project on November 5 with an Instagram video of herself swinging in a park, cryptically captioned “I sit in parks…” This was swiftly followed by the official reveal on November 6, confirming the album and the release of its lead single, “I Sit In Parks,” at midnight on November 7. Ballerini further elaborated on the single's theme, describing the park as a place for “daydreaming and crash outs, ‘what a life' and ‘what now?', wandering and wondering…”

The eagerly anticipated tracklist for “Mount Pleasant” includes “I Sit In Parks,” “People Pleaser,” “Emerald City,” “587,” “The Revisionist,” and “Check On Your Friends.” The announcement has generated a wave of excitement among fans and fellow artists, with country star Ashley Cook calling it “iconic” and fans exclaiming, “WE ARE SO BACK.”
