Bonnie Blue’s Bali Arrest: Porn Probe & Driving Violations

Adult content creator Tia Billinger, known as Bonnie Blue, faced a real arrest in Bali after a previous fake one, turning a social media stunt into a legal scandal. Detained under suspicion of “pornographic activities” while filming x-rated content with tourists, authorities seized numerous items, including nine pink necklaces, condoms, flash drives, cameras, lubricant, Viagra sheets, and the infamous ‘Bang Bus' with its certificate. The Badung Police Chief confirmed her handover to Immigration for alleged immigration law breaches, with ongoing joint investigations.

Blue faces deportation from Bali and a 10-year ban from Indonesia, a significantly lighter outcome compared to the potential 15 years in prison and hefty fine she could have received. The investigation notably involved a search of her phone and those of the men arrested with her, aiming to find evidence of profit-generating x-rated videos filmed on a tourist visa. While no Bali-shot pornographic content was found, personal videos of Bonnie pleasuring herself were discovered. She maintained these were filmed in a Spanish hotel for personal use, not sharing, which, under Indonesian law, does not constitute pornography if “made for oneself.”

However, a clear violation emerged from the phone search: videos showed a man identified as LAJ driving the ‘Bang Bus' around Bali without an Indonesian driver's license, transporting Bonnie and other foreigners. Neither LAJ nor Bonnie possessed the required Indonesian license, leading to a new criminal charge for illegally transporting people in a goods vehicle. Bonnie Blue is now set to return to the U.K. following these events.

Bonnie Blue's recent legal troubles have sparked widespread interest, contributing to the conversation around the growing trend of pop culture bali arrest narratives in social media.
