Taco Bell’s New Menu: Fan Creations Launching November 20
Taco Bell is set to launch an exciting new menu on November 20, featuring three fan-created items: the California Crunchwrap, Burrito Bliss, and Cantina Craze. These innovative creations were chosen from an astounding 40,000 fan submissions, showcasing the brand's commitment to customer engagement. The items originated from “honorary fan chefs” who utilized Taco Bell’s “Fan Style” feature, an in-app tool introduced in July. This feature allows users to personalize and share their custom orders, rewarding creators with points when others try their unique concoctions. Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell's Global Chief Brand Officer, highlighted the brand's willingness to “take bold risks” by tapping into its fan base, stating that while it “might feel like a risk” to loosen their grip, it proves fans can drive the brand to new heights.
The new offerings reflect diverse tastes and creative twists. Brock Horton from Michigan crafted the California Crunchwrap, a limited-time offering that reimagines the classic Crunchwrap by incorporating steak, seasoned fries, and guacamole, drawing inspiration from Southern California's famous fry-filled burritos. Kajol from Kentucky developed the vegetarian Burrito Bliss, enhancing the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito with pico de gallo, Fiesta Strips, and Creamy Avocado Ranch for a fresh, flavorful profile. Lastly, Sandra from Missouri created the Cantina Craze, transforming the 2024 Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco with Creamy Jalapeño Sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream inside, complemented by melted cheese on the exterior for an indulgent finish. These fan-made items provide a unique opportunity for customers to experience crowd-sourced culinary innovation, starting November 20, as Taco Bell gauges which fan-favorite will reign supreme.
The launch of Taco Bell's new menu items on November 20 is sure to excite fans and further solidify Taco Bell pop culture in culinary conversations.
