The controversy stems from lawsuits filed by the film's stars, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, against each other, alleging sexual harassment, a hostile work environment, and orchestrating smear campaigns.
Hoover, who served as an executive producer but was not extensively on set, described the situation as a “circus,” lamenting the negative impact on the actors' careers and the overall sadness it has caused.
