The fatal accident occurred when Germano lost his balance at his residence, which was undergoing renovations. He had been staying at his parents' home prior to the incident. His representative confirmed his passing in a statement, emphasizing his “legacy of dedication, generosity and immense talent.” Director Matheus Marchetti, who worked with Germano on Labyrinth of Lost Boys, shared a heartfelt tribute, remembering him as a “father figure” on set and praising his generous, talented, and endearing soul. Germano’s passing leaves a significant void in the Brazilian entertainment community.
